I have spent years going to salons that promised they could handle my curls. I always left looking nothing like myself. I just want someone who actually knows what they are doing.
Growing up in Norway with 4C hair, I always felt like beauty spaces were not made for me. I am so ready for something that actually sees us.
As a mixed girl, I have never found a platform that understood both sides of my hair journey. This is exactly what the Norwegian curl community needs.

As an African and a minority in Norway, I have experienced firsthand the challenges of finding someone who truly understands the unique needs of curly hair. Growing up, my mom was my primary stylist. She learned the art of caring for our hair from our family, even running her own salon in a small town called Ås for several years before the harsh realities forced its closure — a fate that has touched many salons focused on Afro and curly hair.
Yet, I always carried a spark inside me. A dream of making hair care accessible, authentic, and truly celebratory. Though I once aspired to open a salon in Oslo, I soon discovered that being in the spotlight was not for me. My strengths lay in the quiet passion of perfecting the craft, not in the bustling front of a salon.
